According to Taliban officials, 208 million afghanis will be allocated from the administration&#8217;s budget for the projects.<\/p>\n<p>Hamdullah Fitrat, deputy spokesman for the Taliban administration, wrote on X that the projects were approved at the latest meeting of the administration&#8217;s procurement commission. He did not provide further details on when the work will begin, how long the projects will take to complete, or when the centres will open.<\/p>\n<p>According to the information released, the three centres are of the type known as Comprehensive Health Centres, or CHCs. Such centres operate at the primary healthcare level and are not considered general hospitals.<\/p>\n<p>These centres typically provide services including maternal and postnatal care, childhood vaccination, diagnosis and treatment of common illnesses, some basic laboratory tests, diagnosis and management of malnutrition, and basic emergency services.
