Local sources say Taliban intelligence detained Syed Ghafar Agha, a local singer from Panjshir, in Kabul’s District 15 on Tuesday morning, 3 Sonbola.<\/p>\n
One of his relatives told the Rokhshan information newspaper that the arrest took place this morning, but the official reason has not yet been made clear.<\/p>\n
According to the source, after Haseeb Panjsheri, commander of the Afghanistan National Resistance Front, was killed, Syed Ghafar Agha posted condolence messages on social media and also cried for him in a video. The source said his arrest may have been linked to this matter.<\/p>\n
Based on the source’s information, Syed Ghafar Agha had returned to Afghanistan from Iran last year, and the Taliban administration had obtained a pledge from him that he would no longer sing and would live like an ordinary person.<\/p>\n
