The United Nations Children\u2019s Fund (UNICEF) has warned that children\u2019s rights are being ignored amid the ongoing conflicts and violence in the Middle East, and said their protection must be made a priority.<\/p>\n
In a post on X on Tuesday, Aug. 25, the agency said: \u201cRights do not stop when conflict begins.\u201d UNICEF stressed that children must not be deprived of their basic rights in the shadow of war and violence.<\/p>\n
According to UNICEF, action must be taken to protect children from the consequences of conflict and violence. The agency also called on people to fulfil their shared responsibility in supporting children\u2019s rights and protecting them in the region.<\/p>\n
