The Taliban-led Ministry of Interior said its anti-narcotics police detained 157 people on charges of trafficking and selling drugs in separate operations across several areas of Kabul province over the past month.<\/p>\n
According to the ministry, police also seized 399 kilograms of various narcotics, nearly 10,000 intoxicating tablets, more than three kilograms of hashish and some other substances from those arrested.<\/p>\n
The Taliban administration gave no further details on the identities of those detained, the exact locations of the incidents, or their legal fate.<\/p>\n
