The Muslim World League has condemned last week\u2019s explosion at a private school in western Kabul\u2019s Dasht-e-Barchi area, saying it stands with the people of Afghanistan.<\/p>\n
In a statement on its X account on Saturday, Aug. 31, the body said violence and terrorism in all their forms, under any name or pretext, are condemned. According to the statement, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, secretary general of the Muslim World League, expressed his solidarity with the people of Afghanistan.<\/p>\n
The blast occurred last Monday at a private school in Dasht-e-Barchi in western Kabul and left at least 42 children and teenagers injured.<\/p>\n
The incident had previously been condemned by some countries as well as the United Nations. However, no group has yet claimed responsibility for the explosion.<\/p>\n
In recent years, Dasht-e-Barchi in western Kabul has repeatedly been the scene of deadly attacks on civilians, especially educational centres and Hazara residents. In some cases, Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attacks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
