In the law, the Taliban administration has also changed the name of the police to &#8216;shurta.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Article 50 of the law states: &#8216;Any protest in the territory of Afghanistan is prohibited.&#8217; The Taliban administration has so far provided no further details on the scope of the ban or how it will be enforced.<\/p>\n<p>The decision comes after the Taliban in recent years have cracked down on protests in Afghanistan and arrested demonstrators.
