The death of Hasib Panjshiri has been met with a wave of condolences.<\/p>\n
The Afghanistan Freedom Front has described the killing of Hasib Panjshiri, one of the commanders of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan, as a loss for his comrades, saying the incident would not weaken the resolve of opponents of the Taliban administration to continue their struggle.<\/p>\n
In a statement issued on Thursday evening, 29 Asad, the front said Hasib Panjshiri had fought alongside members of the National Resistance Front against the Taliban administration for the past five years. The Afghanistan Freedom Front extended condolences to his family, the leadership of the National Resistance Front, and the people of Afghanistan.<\/p>\n
The statement said the killing of Hasib Panjshiri is considered a loss for members and comrades of the National Resistance Front. The Afghanistan Freedom Front also urged people to remain united and not be influenced by what it called the Taliban administration’s “propaganda and psychological campaigns.”<\/p>\n
At the same time, Mohammad Mohaqiq, Karim Khalili and Sarwar Danish also offered condolences in separate messages. Mohammad Mohaqiq, leader of the Islamic Unity Party of the People of Afghanistan, described Hasib Panjshiri as one of the “influential forces of the National Resistance Front.”<\/p>\n
Karim Khalili, leader of the Islamic Unity Party of Afghanistan, also described him as a symbol of “courage, steadfastness, sacrifice and determination in defending freedom, dignity and human dignity,” saying his name and memory would remain enduring among freedom fighters.<\/p>\n
The Afghanistan Justice and Freedom Party, led by Sarwar Danish, also issued a statement expressing condolences over the killing of the National Resistance Front commander to his family, his comrades, the people of Panjshir and “all freedom-seekers of the country.” The party added that the incident occurred while Afghanistan was under the shadow of “despotism, monopoly, and repression of civil and political freedoms.”<\/p>\n
