He added that this situation \u201cstrongly smells of political intent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Barak also launched a sharp attack on Netanyahu, saying he had \u201ccompletely lost his mind.\u201d In his view, Netanyahu is no longer concerned with Israel\u2019s security after \u201cabsolute defeat and political failure,\u201d and is instead focused on manoeuvres to ensure his political survival.<\/p>\n<p>Ehud Barak is one of Israel\u2019s well-known political and military figures and has previously criticised Netanyahu\u2019s performance on various occasions.
