According to the sources, he laid down his weapons after talks with Fasihuddin Fitrat, the Taliban administration&#8217;s chief of army staff.<\/p>\n<p>According to the sources, Fateh and his men had been engaged in clashes with Taliban administration forces in Nasi district since last week. Members of the Taliban administration also announced his surrender by publishing videos on social media.<\/p>\n<p>However, details of the agreement and the conditions that led to the commander&#8217;s surrender have not yet been made clear. Security sources of the Taliban administration in Badakhshan told the BBC that the complete disarmament of people linked to Fateh was one of the conditions for this surrender.<\/p>\n<p>Juma Khan Fateh himself has so far not commented on the incident.
