Iran\u2019s army commander has announced a new plan offering cash rewards to anyone who kills, detains and hands over a U.S. soldier.<\/p>\n
According to his remarks, the reward will be $30,000 or 5 billion tomans.<\/p>\n
He said the plan had been prepared in the army with the \u201cparticipation and funding of the people,\u201d in response to what he described as \u201ccalls to participate in financial jihad.\u201d He said the Islamic Republic of Iran\u2019s army would guarantee payment of the reward.<\/p>\n
The Iranian army chief also announced that women who can carry out such an action will receive twice that amount. He added that the weapon of a person who kills a U.S. soldier will be bought for twice its purchase price, and a new weapon will also be provided.<\/p>\n
He went on to say, referring to the United States, that if its forces \u201cmake a mistake\u201d in Iran, they will face a response. According to him, the weapon used in these incidents is to be kept in a museum that has already been planned.<\/p>\n
