Syrian sources reported that Israeli military activity in southern Syria, especially in the countryside of Daraa and Quneitra, has intensified both in the air and on the ground.<\/p>\n
According to these sources, as three Israeli drones and several fighter jets flew overhead, ground activity by Israeli forces also continued in the areas mentioned. The latest incident took place early this morning, when Israeli forces moved in a military convoy of 12 vehicles at the bridge of the village of Saisoon in western Daraa countryside and raided the village, searching homes.<\/p>\n
Syrian sources added that similar movements were also recorded last night in the countryside of Quneitra and Daraa. According to these reports, Israeli fighter jets flew over the Yarmouk Basin area in western Daraa countryside.<\/p>\n
In another incident, an Israeli patrol consisting of two military vehicles entered the forests of the town of Al-Rafid in southern Quneitra countryside and, by firing flares, caused a fire in the area. After the patrol withdrew, civil defense forces and local residents moved in to contain the blaze and extinguished it before it spread to wider areas.<\/p>\n
Also, according to published information, another military convoy of eight vehicles entered the village of Jamleh in the Yarmouk Basin area through the Tel Abu al-Ghithar crossing. This operation was also accompanied by extensive flights of Israeli drones over the area.<\/p>\n
