{"id":19688,"date":"2026-08-15T11:10:15","date_gmt":"2026-08-15T11:10:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/2026\/08\/15\/taliban-reacts-killing-tajik-woman-badakhshan-border\/"},"modified":"2026-08-15T11:10:15","modified_gmt":"2026-08-15T11:10:15","slug":"taliban-reacts-killing-tajik-woman-badakhshan-border","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/2026\/08\/15\/taliban-reacts-killing-tajik-woman-badakhshan-border\/","title":{"rendered":"Taliban administration reacts to killing of Tajik woman on Badakhshan border"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Taliban administration has responded to the killing of a Tajik woman at the Badakhshan border.<\/p>\n<p>The Taliban-run Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, in response to the shooting death of a Tajik woman in the border area between Afghanistan and Tajikistan, that it regretted the incident.<\/p>\n<p>The ministry said a number of \u201cdisruptive and opportunistic\u201d people were trying to create disorder in Badakhshan and damage the atmosphere of trust between Afghanistan and Tajikistan.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Taliban administration\u2019s Foreign Ministry, the administration will not allow anyone to use Afghan soil to fuel insecurity.<\/p>\n<p>Badakhshan is one of Afghanistan\u2019s border provinces in the northeast of the country and shares a common border with Tajikistan.
