As many returnees face economic and livelihood challenges, the Deputy of Publications at the Taliban’s Ministry of Information and Culture met with the Head of External Relations at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to discuss their situation.<\/p>\n

Mojahid Farahmand, Deputy of Publications at the Ministry of Information and Culture under the Taliban administration, emphasized the need to provide equal employment opportunities for returnees. This comes amid widespread complaints from many returnees about the lack of stable work and income.<\/p>\n
Charlie Goodluck, Head of External Relations at UNHCR, also stressed the agency’s readiness to cooperate and coordinate with relevant departments during the meeting.<\/p>\n
