The Ministry of Public Works of the Taliban administration announced that simultaneously, construction is underway on 22- and 20-kilometer sections of the highway from Nangarhar province. According to the ministry, Mullah Muhammad Isa emphasized the importance of maintaining work quality and timely completion of the project during a meeting with the contracting company. The Taliban administration claims that upon completion, the project will significantly reduce travel challenges faced by residents and traders on this important transportation route.
