According to the ministry, the seized money included 343,725 euros, 20,480 US dollars, 78,585 Canadian dollars, 59,900 Australian dollars, 14,750 New Zealand dollars, 313,050 British pounds, 42,550 Swiss francs, and 600,000 Saudi riyals. The Taliban administration claimed the funds were being illegally smuggled and, following their discovery, were handed over to relevant authorities for legal processing.
