The Afghan Freedom Front has reported that five Taliban fighters were killed and 11 others wounded during clashes in the Zibak district of Badakhshan province. According to a statement released on Wednesday evening, 14 Asad, the fighting began earlier that day following an attack by Taliban fighters on the Freedom Front\u2019s positions. The confrontation lasted for about four hours. The Afghan Freedom Front stated that their forces were able to repel the attack and subsequently inflicted casualties on the Taliban fighters using light and heavy weapons. The group claimed the Taliban retreated after suffering losses, and that none of the Freedom Front\u2019s fighters were harmed in the engagement.
