He cited an interpretation of a Quranic verse that Muslims should not befriend &#8216;non-believers&#8217; and alleged that the Taliban administration has grown close to India, describing the relationship as one of &#8216;master and servant.&#8217; <\/p>\n<p>Verbal tensions between New Delhi and Islamabad have escalated amid the expanding ties between India and the Taliban administration in recent years. Although India has yet to officially recognize the Taliban government, it resumed its diplomatic presence in Kabul in 2022 and has increased political contacts with officials from the regime.<\/p>\n<p>In recent months, several Taliban officials, including the acting ministers of Foreign Affairs and Industry and Commerce, have met with Indian representatives.
