In the performance, a mother approaches her daughter who is studying and asks her to put away her books because the Taliban administration has returned. Then, a woman playing the role of a Taliban official enters the scene holding a stick and tells the girl that study time is over and now it is the \u201cTaliban\u2019s turn.\u201d The girl, with teary eyes, expresses her desire to continue her education but faces obstruction from the official. Subsequently, several other women enter the scene and stand in opposition to this symbol of restriction. This protest performance reflects the continued resistance of women against the restrictive policies of the Taliban administration\u2014policies that, over the past five years, have denied girls education beyond the sixth grade and have sparked widespread domestic and international reactions.
