Local sources have reported that an Israeli airstrike targeted a medical supply warehouse near the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city of Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza Strip, completely destroying the facility.<\/p>\n
According to eyewitnesses who spoke to Anadolu Agency, the attack took place early Saturday morning and resulted in the destruction of vital medical equipment inside the warehouse. Additionally, dozens of tents housing displaced Palestinians around the site caught fire and suffered extensive damage.<\/p>\n
Witnesses added that the incident caused fear and panic among patients, refugees, and residents in the vicinity of the hospital.<\/p>\n
The attack occurred amid a severe shortage of medical supplies in Gaza\u2019s health sector due to the blockade and restrictions on the entry of medicines and medical equipment. These restrictions have reduced hospitals’ capacity to treat patients and the wounded.<\/p>\n
Donald Trump, the President of the United States, claimed on Friday that an agreement had been reached for the complete disarmament of Hamas and other armed groups in Gaza, with Israeli forces set to gradually withdraw as the process progresses.<\/p>\n
Despite a ceasefire announced in October last year, daily Israeli attacks have continued across various parts of Gaza. Reports indicate that during this period, 1,209 Palestinians have been killed and 3,943 injured, most of whom were women and children.<\/p>\n
