Following a joint attack by the United States and Saudi Arabia on Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) positions that resulted in at least 20 deaths and 32 injuries, the Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces has ordered heightened readiness across all military bases and barracks in the country.<\/p>\n
A spokesperson for the Commander-in-Chief announced that, based on this directive, the alert level of forces nationwide has been increased, and all military units have been instructed to implement immediate security measures.<\/p>\n
