These individuals had gone missing while traveling through illegal routes toward Iran.<\/p>\n<p>According to published images, 14 people died after wandering in the province\u2019s deserts due to extreme heat and dehydration. The desert routes in Nimroz are among the most dangerous paths for illegal migration, claiming victims every year.<\/p>\n<p>Abdul Muttawakil Touhidi, spokesperson for the Taliban administration\u2019s governor in Nimroz, confirmed the discovery of the bodies in conversations with the media.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) announced that five Afghan citizens had died on illegal migration routes in the same province, with 14 others reported missing.
