According to a statement released by the IRGC, the attack occurred this morning in retaliation for what it described as &#8220;a U.S. attack on two residential homes on Qeshm Island.&#8221; The operation was reportedly carried out by the IRGC Aerospace Force through the launch of several ballistic missiles.<\/p>\n<p>The statement also claimed that several U.S. officers and technical personnel were killed as a result of the strike.
