The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has begun distributing stationery and educational packages to 143,738 students and nearly 4,000 teachers in Jawzjan province. According to local officials, this assistance addresses part of the schools’ needs in the region.<\/p>\n
Molavi Lal Jan Rashid, head of Jawzjan’s education department, stated at the program’s launch that these supplies were prepared with funding exceeding 49 million 353 thousand Afghanis and supported financially by UNICEF. The supplies will be distributed to 354 schools across the province.<\/p>\n
He explained that the packages include stationery, educational materials, and administrative equipment for schools, and that the official distribution process began today.<\/p>\n
The head of education emphasized that providing educational supplies can positively impact teaching quality, boost the motivation of both students and teachers, and improve the learning environment. He also urged partner organizations to continue their cooperation in equipping schools and strengthening the education system.<\/p>\n
