Initially, the factory has created job opportunities for 25 people.

Samiullah Agha Bakhtar, the factory’s manager, stated that the production center was set up with his personal funds, and embroidery of clothes and hats is carried out using relatively modern methods. He added that the factory’s products will be sent to Kabul, Kandahar, and several other provinces.

Officials from the Taliban’s Department of Industry and Commerce in Zabul have called the opening of this factory a step towards the economic growth of the province. Mohammad Zaman, Head of Commercial Affairs at the department, said that the administration supports entrepreneurs and has so far cooperated with about 200 entrepreneurs in various sectors.

However, considering that Zabul is one of the country’s underdeveloped provinces and unemployment is a serious challenge for its residents, the establishment of such small-scale production units can address only a part of the labor market needs and is not sufficient to meet the broad employment demands of the province. This is the first time a manufacturing factory of this scale has started operating in Zabul.

A privately funded embroidery factory opened in Zabul, creating 25 jobs and boosting local economy amid high unemployment challenges.

[7

post-18383","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-business
["GET
