The Secretariat of the Supreme Commission for the Settlement of Migrant Issues, operated by the Taliban, announced that on Wednesday, 31st Saratan, a total of 599 families, comprising 3,390 individuals, entered the country through the Torkham, Spin Boldak, Islam Qala, and Pul-e Abresham crossings.<\/p>\n
According to the authority, returnees have been provided with registration services, transfers to provinces, cash assistance, health services, and awareness programs. Statistics indicate that 583 families, totaling 3,224 people, have been relocated to various provinces, with transfer costs amounting to 2,667,190 Afghanis. Additionally, 639 families received cash aid, and 590 SIM cards with active packages were distributed among them.<\/p>\n
At the Torkham crossing, 482 families comprising 2,841 individuals were registered, of which 455 families were transferred to provinces. The Taliban administration claims that 567 families received cash assistance on this route, and health and telecommunications services, including the distribution of 543 SIM cards, were provided at the Omari camp.<\/p>\n
In Spin Boldak, 49 families totaling 274 individuals were registered, with 33 families transferred to different provinces. According to Taliban officials, these families received cash aid, health services, 960 meals, and 44 SIM cards.<\/p>\n
At Islam Qala, 20 families consisting of 71 individuals were registered, and all were provided with cash assistance. In Nimroz province\u2019s Pul-e Abresham crossing, 48 families encompassing 204 people were registered, alongside the return of 1,002 travelers through this route. The Taliban stated that 611 individuals received health services there, and cash aid was given to three families.<\/p>\n
Moreover, 95 families totaling 507 people were transferred from Kabul to various provinces, with transportation costs covered by the Transport Committee.
