The Iranian Embassy in Kabul announced that a shipment of humanitarian aid from the Iranian people has been delivered to Parun, the capital of Nuristan province, to assist families affected by recent floods.<\/p>\n

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) confirmed that at least 23 people have died, 15 have been injured, and several remain missing in Parun as a result of the floods. Additionally, at the Torkham border crossing in Nangarhar province, three people lost their lives and nine others were injured.<\/p>\n
