News sources have announced that the seventh round of negotiations between Lebanon and Israel is scheduled to take place on August 4 in Rome, the capital of Italy.<\/p>\n
According to Lebanese media, this meeting marks the second round of talks held in Rome. Meanwhile, Israeli media, citing their own sources, have also confirmed that the next phase of negotiations will occur next month.<\/p>\n
Beirut and Tel Aviv have held several rounds of talks under the mediation and supervision of the United States at the U.S. State Department headquarters, and one round was previously held in Rome. The outcome of these discussions has been described as reaching a “framework agreement.”<\/p>\n
This agreement has faced critical reactions within Lebanon, including from Hezbollah.
