Meanwhile, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Tayebi, the former head of the university, has been appointed as Deputy Minister of Culture and Arts of the Taliban\u2019s Ministry of Information and Culture.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Atiqullah Azizi, the former Deputy Minister of Culture and Arts, has been named head of Information and Culture in Herat.<\/p>\n<p>In the security sector, Mohammad Ismail Rasikh, the former police commander of Jowzjan province, has been appointed as governor of the province. Abdul Karim Nafiz, the former deputy of the 217 Omari Corps, has been named the new police commander of Jowzjan.
