A former member of the special forces of the previous government, who had recently returned to the country from the United States, was killed in a shooting incident in Khost city.<\/p>\n
Khost police command said in a statement on Monday that the incident occurred on Sunday in front of Abdali Hospital in the “1200 Family” area of Khost city. According to the police, the deceased was named Nangyali and was a resident of the Khabshakhel village in Matun district.<\/p>\n
The statement added that he had gone to the hospital to visit a patient when he was shot due to a “personal enmity.” The police emphasized that the incident was not politically motivated.<\/p>\n
According to police information, Nangyali had left for the United States after the fall of the previous government and had returned to Afghanistan about ten days ago. It was also mentioned that one of his brothers had been killed in a separate incident related to personal enmity during the previous government.<\/p>\n
