He added that neighboring and regional countries should not have any concerns in this regard.<\/p>\n<p>These remarks come after Sergey Lavrov, speaking at a regional anti-terrorism meeting, highlighted ongoing threats posed by terrorism and expressed worry over the presence and expansion of ISIS in Afghanistan. Lavrov described terrorism as one of the most serious threats to global peace and stability.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the Taliban administration\u2019s assurances of nationwide security, reports of security incidents and attacks attributed to ISIS have emerged in parts of the country in recent years. This has raised ongoing questions about the Taliban&#8217;s control and security capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, several international relations experts believe that instead of emphasizing concerns, regional countries should focus on expanding security and economic cooperation with Afghanistan.
