The Commission for Addressing Migrants’ Issues announced that yesterday, 1,738 families, comprising 7,903 returning migrants, benefited from registration, transportation, and cash assistance services. According to the commission, the service delivery process has been ongoing at border crossings and in some provinces.<\/p>\n
Hamdullah Fetrat, Deputy Spokesperson for the Taliban administration, stated that on the same day, 759 families totaling 4,942 individuals were transported to various provinces, with over 3.4 million Afghanis spent on their transportation costs.<\/p>\n
Based on the information provided, 905 families received cash assistance, and 897 SIM cards were distributed among the migrants. Additionally, services such as cash assistance, health and food services, and transportation to the relevant provinces were made available at the Torkham, Spin Boldak, and Islam Qala border crossings.<\/p>\n
The Commission for Addressing Migrants’ Issues emphasized that the process of registration, transportation, provision of health services, and cash assistance continues.
