The General Directorate of Norms and Quality of the Taliban administration announced that in a joint meeting with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul, both sides emphasized expanding technical cooperation, standardization, and improving product quality to strengthen trade relations.<\/p>\n
In this meeting, Abdullah Basir, the General Director of the administration, described the standardization of exports and imports as crucial for regulating the market and facilitating trade. He stated that adherence to necessary standards by traders of both countries plays a fundamental role not only in improving product quality but also in protecting the health, rights, and interests of consumers.<\/p>\n
Alireza Bigdeli, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul, referring to the friendly relations between the two countries, described Afghanistan and Iran as neighbors with extensive trade links. He announced that Iran’s National Standards Organization is ready to cooperate with Afghanistan\u2019s Directorate of Norms and Quality in transferring technical expertise, standardization, and strengthening specialized capacities.<\/p>\n
The Iranian ambassador also invited the General Director of the Directorate of Norms and Quality to make an official visit to Iran to visit its National Standards Organization.<\/p>\n
At the end of the meeting, both parties emphasized continuing constructive interactions, expanding specialized cooperation, and leveraging existing capacities to strengthen trade relations and advance the standardization process between Afghanistan and Iran.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
