According to these officials, the shipments are from the World Health Organization and were allowed entry following coordination with Pakistan.

Qarishi Badlon, Director of Intelligence at the Taliban’s Department of Intelligence and Culture in Nangarhar, stated that the trucks crossed the border after an agreement between the Taliban and Pakistan. He claimed that Pakistan received payment from the World Health Organization for each truck in exchange for granting passage.

The Torkham crossing, one of the most important transit routes between Afghanistan and Pakistan, has been closed to regular travel and trade for nearly a year. During this period, passage has only been permitted in limited cases, such as the return of deported refugees and the transit of certain humanitarian assistance convoys.

The continued closure of this crossing has had widespread economic and humanitarian impacts on residents on both sides of the border. Meanwhile, the Taliban administration has not provided further details about the terms of the agreement with Pakistan or transparency regarding the aid transfer process, a matter that has been consistently questioned by monitoring bodies and local residents.

56 UN humanitarian aid trucks entered Afghanistan via the Torkham border after Taliban-Pakistan coordination, amid ongoing closure of this key transit route.

[17,6,3

post-17533","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-important-news","category-international","category-top-news
["GET
