The sale took place in the presence of the Mining Protection Committee delegation.<\/p>\n<p>Saifuddin Laton, spokesperson for the Panjshir governor, announced that this quantity of emeralds was sold today through an auction and the proceeds will be deposited into the designated accounts. According to him, the sale was conducted within the framework of established procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Panjshir, a mountainous province in the northeast of the country, is historically renowned for its emerald mines and is considered one of the important sources of mineral revenue.
