The Taliban’s Ministry of Information and Culture has announced that officials from Afghanistan and Turkey have held a meeting in Kabul to discuss expanding tourism, cultural collaborations, and strengthening historical ties between the two countries.<\/p>\n
According to the ministry’s statement, Mawlawi Qudratullah Jamal, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Finance, and Administration, met with Sadiq Deniz Yildirim, Charge d’Affaires of the Turkish Embassy in Kabul. Both sides exchanged views and discussed ways to develop the tourism industry and increase cultural interactions.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, emphasis was placed on establishing an official agreement in the tourism sector, launching educational programs, and forming a joint technical working group. The Ministry of Information and Culture stated that the goal of these measures is to provide a framework for practical and regular cooperation between the two countries in the field of tourism.<\/p>\n
Turkey has cooperated with Afghanistan in cultural and educational sectors in recent years, and the Taliban administration is now seeking to use this approach to activate the tourism industry and attract regional cooperation.
