According to the agency, the project is being implemented on a land area of six jeribs, with an estimated cost of 93.5 million Afghanis.<\/p>\n<p>According to the information released, this cold storage is expected to be completed and operational by the year 1405 in the Solar Hijri calendar (2026-2027 Gregorian). Once completed, the facility will enable local farmers to store fresh fruits and other agricultural products.<\/p>\n<p>The Economic Deputy stated that establishing this cold storage can help reduce agricultural product waste, maintain the quality of produce, and provide greater convenience for farmers. Paktika province is among the regions where a significant portion of the population is engaged in agriculture and livestock, and the lack of standard storage facilities has long been one of the main challenges in the area.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, some economic experts emphasize that the timely and transparent implementation of infrastructure projects requires effective management and clear accountability from the Taliban administration to ensure these projects are completed and operational according to the announced timelines.
