The funeral ceremony of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution was held today, Thursday, in the city of Mashhad with a large turnout of people. From the early hours of the morning, the routes leading to the holy shrine of Imam Reza were crowded with mourners gathered to pay their respects and participate in the farewell rites.<\/p>\n
The sacred body of the martyred leader was transferred along a predetermined path towards the burial site amid religious chants and expressions of grief from the mourners. Participants chanted slogans and recited prayers to honor the memory and path of the martyr.<\/p>\n
Security and emergency forces were stationed along various points of the funeral procession to manage the event and ensure the safety and order of the crowd. Reports indicate that this ceremony is one of the largest mourning gatherings in recent years in Mashhad.<\/p>\n
The head of the media and information department of the holy shrine of Imam Reza announced that after the prayer, the sacred body of the martyred leader and his family members will be moved to one of the porticoes near the sacred shrine. The burial ceremony, attended by the family and close associates, will take place at the same location.<\/p>\n
