Donald Trump, the President of the United States, announced that in his view, the process of understanding with Iran has ended and there is no longer any ground for engagement. He emphasized that Washington will not allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons.<\/p>\n
In a harsh statement, Trump claimed that if Iran had access to such weapons, it would use them. He also said that the United States has spent “a lot of time” on the issue of Iran and now must pursue its own path.<\/p>\n
The US president, who had previously spoken about ceasefire and negotiation, this time made it clear that he does not wish to continue engagement with Iran and that, from his perspective, the memorandum of understanding is over.<\/p>\n
