Security officials of the Taliban administration in Jowzjan province have reported that a 14-year-old boy was fatally stabbed in the Darzab district of the province. According to these officials, the incident occurred on Tuesday, 16th Saratan (July 7).<\/p>\n
Abdul Sattar Halimi, spokesperson for the Taliban security command in Jowzjan, stated that the teenager, named Aziz al-Zahman, was killed by another man. According to him, the accused fled to the city of Sheberghan, the provincial capital of Jowzjan, but was arrested by security forces.<\/p>\n
The security command spokesperson did not provide any explanation regarding the motive behind the killing and only said that investigations into the matter have begun. So far, no further details on how the incident occurred have been released.<\/p>\n
In a separate incident in Paktia province, local sources reported that a 27-year-old man hanged himself in the Samkani district of the province, ending his own life.<\/p>\n
According to sources, the man was named Abdul Hadi and lived in the Ragha area of Samkani district. One of his relatives said that Abdul Hadi was originally from the Maqbal area of Dandepatan district.<\/p>\n
