The British newspaper The Guardian has reported that, based on information provided by the company Elbit Systems, the Israeli military has used a digital system for extensive targeting in Gaza and Lebanon, striking over 850,000 targets between October 7 and the end of 2025. According to the report, more than half of Gaza’s population and the majority of its infrastructure have been targeted as a result of these attacks.<\/p>\n
The Guardian, citing this defense company, wrote that the digital command and control system called “Tzeiad” has been supplied to the Israeli military for mapping individuals, vehicles, and other objects. Elbit Systems, known as the largest arms supplier to the Israeli military, presented this information at a military conference in London.<\/p>\n
According to the company’s presentation, on average about 1,000 targets per day were attacked during the first two years of the war in Gaza and Lebanon. The program is said to be used within the digital command structure of the army to prepare for possible attacks from land, sea, and air.<\/p>\n
This information was presented by Major General (Res.) Mickey Edelstein. Wes Bryant, a former targeting advisor and policy analyst at the Pentagon specializing in assessing civilian harm, described the figure of 850,000 strikes as “very alarming.”<\/p>\n
Bryant said the population of Gaza before October 2023 was approximately 2.2 million people and included nearly 300,000 buildings. However, the Israeli military has targeted over half of the population and the majority of the infrastructure of this area, which has led to extensive humanitarian and structural consequences.<\/p>\n
The report states that Israel started a genocide against Gaza in October 2003, resulting in more than 73,090 deaths and 173,553 injuries.
