Representatives from the Saudi Arabian King Salman Charity Organization, the Regional Head of UNICEF, and the ambassadors of the United Arab Emirates and Qatar also attended the meeting.<\/p>\n
According to a statement released by Bakhtar News Agency, the main focus of the discussions was on strengthening the health sector, improving coordination among involved organizations, and expanding health services in various regions of Afghanistan. Participants emphasized the continuation of polio vaccination programs, which are considered vital to preventing the spread of the disease in the country.<\/p>\n
The Taliban’s Minister of Interior Affairs stated during the meeting that conditions for providing health services in the country have now been established and that some past security-related restrictions have decreased. He also added that the people of Afghanistan face serious health challenges and that health services constitute an important part of humanitarian aid.<\/p>\n
Haqqani stressed that political considerations should be set aside in implementing health programs and joint cooperation should be strengthened.
