He added that the recovered vehicles were returned to their rightful owners.<\/p>\n<p>The Kabul police command has also released a video on the social media platform X, in which some of the arrested individuals confess to the vehicle thefts. However, it remains unclear under what conditions these confessions were obtained and whether the accused had access to legal counsel and a transparent judicial process\u2014issues that have consistently raised concerns among human rights organizations.<\/p>\n<p>These arrests come amid growing complaints from residents of several provinces across the country about a rise in armed robberies and insecurity in urban areas over recent months.
