A delegation from the Strategic Studies Center of the Taliban\u2019s Foreign Ministry traveled to Astana, Kazakhstan\u2019s capital, where they met with officials and experts from several key Kazakh research institutions to discuss bilateral cooperation.<\/p>\n
According to official Taliban sources, the delegation held specialized and analytical meetings with the Institute of Strategic Studies affiliated with the Office of the President of Kazakhstan, as well as a private research center called \u201cOpen World.\u201d The main focus of these talks was scientific and research cooperation between the two countries, bilateral relations, regional connectivity, and particularly regional transit corridors and Afghanistan\u2019s transit project.<\/p>\n
During these meetings, both sides emphasized the continuation and expansion of scientific and academic cooperation between Kabul and Astana. They expressed hope that the outcomes of these discussions, in the form of analytical notes and proposals, would have a positive impact on practical cooperation in relevant sectors.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the Taliban administration has in recent years sought to strengthen its position in regional political and economic equations through regional engagements and research consultations.
