According to an official statement, the ceremony will be held on July 3rd.<\/p>\n<p>At a press conference, the spokesperson for China&#8217;s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that He Wei, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People&#8217;s Congress of China, will attend the ceremony. The Standing Committee of the National People&#8217;s Congress is recognized as China&#8217;s highest legislative body.<\/p>\n<p>Ayatollah Martyr Ali Khamenei was killed on the first day of the aerial aggression by Israel and the United States against Iran on February 28th. Iranian state media have reported that his funeral ceremonies will commence in Tehran on July 4th.<\/p>\n<p>According to the same reports, the proceedings will continue until July 9th, concluding with burial in his birthplace, the sacred city of Mashhad in northeastern Iran.
