He added that these forces will remain in Venezuela until the completion of their humanitarian mission.<\/p>\n<p>Reuters reported on Tuesday, June 30, that the US military continues to operate four to five drones over Venezuela to monitor transportation routes and assess the damage to buildings in order to accelerate relief efforts.<\/p>\n<p>The report noted that this deployment comes just months after a previous US operation aimed at apprehending Nicol\u00e1s Maduro, Venezuela\u2019s former president, which US officials described as a significant achievement.<\/p>\n<p>Last Wednesday, Venezuela suffered extensive damage after experiencing two powerful earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 on the Richter scale, occurring less than a minute apart.
