India’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned recent Pakistani airstrikes targeting parts of Afghanistan, describing them as a blatant violation of Afghanistan’s sovereignty and a direct threat to regional peace and stability. This statement was released on Monday, June 29, in an official press release.<\/p>\n
The declaration stated that these acts constitute an infringement of Afghanistan’s territorial integrity and reflect Pakistan’s ‘reckless’ behavioral pattern. New Delhi added that such attacks are a failed attempt to cover up internal issues through violent actions beyond its borders.<\/p>\n
The Indian Foreign Ministry also expressed condolences to the victims’ families and reaffirmed its ‘firm and unwavering’ support for Afghanistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.<\/p>\n
Last night, Pakistan conducted airstrikes targeting areas in the provinces of Paktia, Paktika, and Kunar. Pakistani officials claimed that the strikes targeted positions of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan and the group Jamaat-ul-Ahrar.<\/p>\n
In response, the Taliban administration stated that civilian homes were hit in these strikes, resulting in 36 deaths and 163 injuries.
