The Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology under the Taliban administration has announced that telecom companies have reduced the prices of internet and call packages back to their previous levels after the deadline expired. This decision was implemented following a deadline given to the companies to restore the rates by Sunday.<\/p>\n
Enayatullah Alkhozi, spokesperson for the ministry, wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) page that after the deadline ended, telecom companies were obligated to apply the previous pricing, and this process has now been carried out.<\/p>\n
According to him, this decision came after meetings between the Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (ETRA) and representatives of the telecom companies. During these meetings, a specific timeframe was set to return to the former tariffs.<\/p>\n
