This decision was implemented following a deadline given to the companies to restore the rates by Sunday.

Enayatullah Alkhozi, spokesperson for the ministry, wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) page that after the deadline ended, telecom companies were obligated to apply the previous pricing, and this process has now been carried out.

According to him, this decision came after meetings between the Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (ETRA) and representatives of the telecom companies. During these meetings, a specific timeframe was set to return to the former tariffs.

Last week, the Taliban’s Ministry of Telecommunications announced that following discussions between ETRA and the companies, a deadline had been set to reduce the prices of internet and call packages again. The earlier price increases had prompted reactions from many subscribers.

With the implementation of this decision, telecom service rates across the country have reverted to their previous state. While many citizens have welcomed this move, some users continue to emphasize the need for ongoing monitoring of service quality and transparency in tariff setting.

Taliban’s telecom ministry announces that internet and call package prices have been restored to previous levels after a set deadline for telecom companies.

[7,17

post-16159","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-business","category-important-news
["GET
