Pakistani officials stated that the operations were in response to an increase in security incidents, which they claim have averaged around 100 per month over the past three months.

In contrast, Taliban administration officials assert that the Pakistani military targeted civilians’ homes. Some released images from Paktia show several injured children. However, the continuation of cross-border attacks and the lack of clarity on how to protect local residents have once again raised concerns about the Taliban administration’s inability to ensure border area security and prevent violations of the country’s territory.

Former Afghan president Karzai condemns Pakistan’s attacks as violations of sovereignty and calls for an end to confrontational policies amid rising cross-border tensions.

[17,4,16

post-16139","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-important-news","category-politics","category-secondary-headline
["GET
