The Pakistan Army has announced that 15 individuals described as “terrorists” were killed in several security operations conducted in the provinces of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to the military’s public relations office, these individuals were eliminated based on intelligence-driven operations.<\/p>\n
According to a report on Sunday, June 28, the Pakistan Army’s internal service public relations stated that eight people were killed in two separate operations in Balochistan. Additionally, seven others lost their lives in a similar operation in the Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.<\/p>\n
The report noted that these operations took place on June 25 and 26 in Balochistan and on the previous Friday in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Pakistan Army has not provided further details regarding the identities of those killed or their affiliated groups.<\/p>\n
These developments come a day after a Pakistan Rangers camp was targeted in a car bomb attack overnight, resulting in the deaths of at least three Pakistani police officers.<\/p>\n
