A light aircraft collided with Beijing’s tallest building, resulting in the death of the pilot and injuries to 13 others. The incident occurred in the Chaoyang district, one of the major commercial areas of China’s capital.<\/p>\n
According to the local Chaoyang government, the single-engine, two-seater sport plane struck a tall building while flying near the East Third Ring Road. Reports indicate that only the pilot was on board the aircraft at the time of the crash.<\/p>\n
Local officials stated that the injured individuals, who were not passengers of the plane, are receiving medical treatment. They added that investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the accident, though no further details have been released so far.<\/p>\n
